Snowbasin Ski Patrol and Snow Science Guided Tour
August 29: Snowbasin Ski Patrol and Snow Science
Spend a day-in-the-life of a Snowbasin ski patroller, and learn what it takes to keep the mountain safe. Patrollers provide first aid and comfort to Snowbasin guests, and aid in reduction of avalanche risk on the slopes. All of this and more contribute to the quality experience that Snowbasin guests have come to expect. In the Snowbasin Ski Patrol and Snow Science Guided Tour, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at an aid room, hold a hand charge and light a real fuse, see an avalauncher tower and learn what patrollers look for when planning avalanche control. Difficulty: Easy Duration: 3 hours Ages: 7+
