Do you want to learn how to ride a mountain bike? If you feel comfortable riding a bicycle on pavement, but lack the confidence to bring your bike to the dirt, the Introduction to Mountain Biking Guided Tour is for you. You will learn trail etiquette, basic bike handling skills needed to navigate rocks and roots, and how to climb hills at slow speeds. You will learn these skills on the very-mellow Wildflower Meadow bike path, progress to the Moose Loop in the base area, and finally bring your new-found skills up to the top of the mountain to ride the Cirque Loop.

If you don’t have your own bike, the Grizzly Center has mountain bikes available to rent (not included in the tour price). Please note that helmets are required to participate in this activity and if you bring your own bike it must be in good working order (subject to bike mechanic’s approval).Difficulty: Easy to moderateDuration: 3 hours
