Although Lakeside is nestled in the pristine Ogden Valley surrounded by recreation and stunning views, dining options are close at hand. There are several options in the Ogden Valley; additionally Lakeside is just 10-15 minutes from Ogden which has many restaurants to select from. We have listed some of our favorites.

Snowbasin, A Sun Valley Resort

Snowbasin received the best restaurant in Northern Utah 2007 from Salt Lake City Magazine. Located just 8 miles from Lakeside, Snowbasin features the robust Utah fare and gourmet treats of Earl's lodge, the taste of Europe of Needles Lodge and the light-American fare of of John Paul Lodge, every dining experience is as much a treat as the mountain. The Timbermine Steakhouse

Timbermine is located at the bottom of Ogden canyon, just 8 miles from Lakeside. The Timbermine offers delicate appetizers like the deep-fried mushrooms to the hearty gambler, a 32 ounce Porter House steak. If seafood is more your style try the shrimp or king crab combination or the steak and lobster combination or try the house specialty, 16 ounces of prime rib that will practically melt on your tongue.
